Required resources question

Greetings,
I am starting to use Minivend 3.11 and am running it on a Redhat
Linux 4.0 System with all the security patches and upgraded version
of Perl. All is moving forward well, but when using it, the system
is running out of memory! I have 64MB of RAM and 72MB of swap.
With one user running over the Internet the system starts getting
cannot run interpreter messages and I see virtually no available
RAM or Swap left. Since I have "top" running on the console I can
watch it all happen.
My questions are:
1. What is going on?
2. Can I limit Minivend memory usage?
3. Anyone else see this?
