Database question

    In the documentation, it says:

MiniVend also has a number of standard but optional databases, some of
which are in fixed special formats:

shipping.asc [...]
salestax.asc [...]
accessories.asc [...]
pricing.asc [...]

	Does this mean that I cannot put this information into my SQL
database?  I want to use MySQL for the entire backend, but the "fixed
special formats" makes it look like I will need to keep some separate,
ASCII files in addition to the database info.

	Has anyone tried keeping shipping, salestax, or pricing
information in a SQL table?
