PERL-Tag in CommonAdjust?
****** message to minivend-users from Christian =?iso-8859-1?Q?Gr=E4fe?= <cg@cityline.net> ******
Hi,
I need to implement a quantity-based pricing model. Each product needs it's
own price-breaks and it's own number of price-breaks, too. (E.g. Product1:
1/$10 5/$8, Product2: 1/$20 10/$19 100/$18, ...) Thus, prices are kept in a
seperate table with both product-code *and* quantity as keys.
After reading the documentation over and over the only possible way to do
this seems to be using a [PERL] tag in CommonAdjust to make SQL lookups and
to do the calculations.
1st Question: Is there any easier (possibly faster) way to do this?`
2nd Question: How do I use the [PERL]-tag in CommonAdjust? I've tried, but
MiniVend just seems to ignore this. How do I access the product-code and
-quantity in this [PERL]-tag?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Christian Graefe
