I'm not sure as to what exactly you mean by getting rid of the database..
but it looks to me like you need to first make sure you create the mysql
database "music" and decide whether or not you want minivend to populate it
for you by means of the music.asc file.. and if not.. then change to line in
your catalog.cfg file to read "NoImport music" NOT music.asc. so that
minivend doesn't overwrite your sql database ...

Again, the trouble is that I've created a mysql database and the
catalog loads ok when I start Minivend, but when I try to do a form
search on the database I get an internal server error, and all of the
demo products info is there even though I've removed all references to
it, including the database.
I posted the catalog.cfg file but haven't gotten any help on it. Does
anyone have a moment?******
