static page building

Hello,

I am having static page building problems.  In 3.11 it would check the
products, and when it went to build them it would find a [tag search] and
die.  in 3.12, it checks them, finds the [tag search], doesn't die, but
doesn't build the pages either.  It gives output to indicate that its
building the pages, but in reality its not.  Any clues?

Is there a way I can tell minivend not to even try building the [tag search]
files? (scan1.html scan2.html).  It doesn't build them, it just causes
problems.
