Checkout problem in the simple demo?

(The problem occurs when pressing [Place order!] in the simple demo)

I'm using usr:test pwd:test

All my chosen items in the order looks fine:
-------------------------------------------
        Order details
        MONA LISA, Da Vinci     1 @ $50,000,000.00    $50,000,000.00
        Back to cart            Subtotal
                                                      $50,000,000.00
                [Snip]

I typed the test creditcard number:
----------------------------------
        4111 1111 1111 1111


But When I press the [Place Order!] button I get the the error below:

We're sorry, but your order could not be processed at this time due to
technical problems. Please print the order page and give us a call. We
will follow up as soon as possible.

Any suggestions?

Ps I also tried this at www.minivend.com and there it did work.
