MV works until I try to use SSL

****** message to minivend-users from Doug Whitman <dougw@bransonbelle.com> ******

Dear MV users,

I have minivend's simple catalog working properly all the way through
the checkout process in non-secure (http) mode. However, when I
change the checkout (or process) forms to make calls to my secure server
(https), it crashes with an "Internal Server Error". I've spent two
days searching through the docs and emails looking for answers but
nothing has helped thus far. I've tried everything in the support
documentation for debugging but always end up w/ the same error. To me,
it seems strange that minivend will work great as long as I don't use
SSL (which my ISP does allow for my domain, on the same server).

Does anyone have any suggestions or references that I can use to get my
arms around this problem? I'm looking forward to setting up my catalog,
minivend looks like a fantastic piece of work.

My web envirn: Red Hat Linux 4.2, Apache 1.3.4, Note on Perl: I have
5.004 on the system but my catalog's current incarnation is using 5.003
because I forgot to override the default path during my last
configuration (which I've had many trying to debug this thing). Could
this be causing my SSL problem?

Thx for your help, Doug.
