No, it is not a violation according to our corporate lawyer. It is indeed written in PERL 5, however, we also make a freeware version available to those who ask for it -- we also have a line of ``Minivend Front End Modules'' that allow for expandability with the interface.
We mainly use it for our web hosting clients who use Minivend and have a need to update their pricing, products, or quantity databases regularly. It is also an easier way to eliminate the need for telnet as you can even edit the catalog.cfg file, and reconfig the catalog all online.
BTW, next time write to me directly... do waste bandwidth with non-unrelated questions / postings.
