I posed a couple of similar questions to the list a month or three ago
(http://www.minivend.com:80/minivend/minivend-list/1999/msg00562.html) and
(http://www.minivend.com:80/minivend/minivend-list/1999/msg02156.html),
and didn't get any replies that indicated that could do what you wanted to
do above. I have resorted to doing a lot of stuff by hand (using [sql]
and calculating [total-cost], etc in [calc] statements).
At the end of the second message I also asked whether there were any
plans for better SQL support at a future date (supporting a database call
in the PriceField directive for instance) but never received any reply.
