I never figured out how to pass the discount through to the end of the order 
process, but I got things to work with Cybercash by adding my discount tags 
into the checkout profile in the checkout.html page.

It works now, but I think it's quite strange that I have to put the same 
exact code in 5 places.  I could just include an external file I suppose, but 
couldn't there just be an option to the discount tag to specify if the 
discount is global or just local?
