In fact, [calc]should handle arithmetics without a perl-like assignment.
For me it does exactly this. If I use [currency] it will cut the output
to the number of digits specified in the locale.asc. Did you specify the
number of digits for currency? I have an entry of "frac_digits" in my
locale.asc file that limits the digits to two after the
"mon_decimal_point". I couldnt find the "frac_digit" in the docs, but I
didnt spend much time looking for it.
What I have noticed is that if i limit the "frac_digit" to 0, the result
of [calc]1+1.5[/calc] is 2 !! So this may be your problem.
I hope this is better advice than last, else I shall shut up.
