I'd been wondering about that since we need to pass session to and from
scripts outside of minivend and across domains and catalogs.
How bad is "so bad" with localhost mySQL server and UNIX socket on say PII
350+ servers, particularly when clients have to render large, complex
and multiply nested tables, often with a dozen plus images?
How does one go about answering a question like that? Can it be profiled?
