PHP is a scripting-language that helps you writing non-static pages.
Minivend is a fully configurable shop-system.

If you want to create a shop with php you have to do nearly all by yourself:
DB-connect, shipping, tax, credit-card validation,...

If you use minivend you have usually all the functions you need and can
concentrate on the things you want to do with the shop...
