Hi All,
I have been working on setting up Minivend and MiniMate on a
virtual server with some success but it is very difficult to figure it all
out.
There is so much information in the documentation that
it has taken me a long time to sort through to try to figure out how
to set things up.
Does someone that has been successful at setting
up Minivend and MiniMate on a virtual server running Lenux Redhat 6 and
Apache have a Very basic "How to do it" for the simple demo catalog that
they could post to the board?
I like the program a lot and I plan to learn all I can about
it but I can see from all the posts on this board that I am not the only one
that is having trouble figuring out how to set things up.
Most of what I have had trouble with has been due to the
fact that the Minivend installation setup is intended for people that have their
own servers with root access to the server.
I plan to make this work but it would help me (and others
like me) if there was a more basic description on how to install it, that is
intended for people with domains on virtual servers.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
