Merchants sign-up online and create store using minivend?

Has anyone done any serious work on developing a web site where small
business
merchants can sign-up online and create a fully functional store via
the web browser.
Sort of like what icat and yahoo are doing?
I have been using minivend for some time now, and would like to do
something
like this. The tools are all here, I have the hardware and dedicated
connection.
But I need help. Anyone interested in seriously discussing this?
