I've been reading the minivend docs and it is mentioned that a software download store can be setup with ease, but I have not come accross any examples.
I need to setup a store that does this:
First time user logs in (actual minivend login) and sees a list of software available to first time logins.
A user purchases something, their credit card info is validated by cybercash and they are allowed to download the software.
This same user comes back at a later date, logs in, and sees their purchase history. This allows that user to re-download soemthing they have already downloaded, in the event they lose the software, whatever. The software history also is what determines what the user can download next, so they will see a new selection of available software. They purchase something new, giving them access to further downloads, etc.
The questions I have are:
Can minivend maintain a purchase history? If so, can it be placed into a mysql database?
Does anyone know of a software download site running on minivend that I can check out?
I've setup about 3 minivend stores so far, all relatively simple, so I know something about minivend.
