Duplicate Orders

OK, we've got the opposite of the "15 missing orders".

Customer places an order.  Great.  Looks fine, shows up in backend.asc, 
tracking.asc, and the order e-mail goes find.

A minute (or so) later the order comes through again.  New order number, 
incremented properly, exact same items, but shipping has disappeared.  Then 
again, and again, and again.  Timimg varies between 1 to 3 minutes 
apart.  So far, the most times the order has come through is 8 times.

Now, you say, the user is hitting "back" and checking out again!  No, I 
say, we had one person on the phone while it was happening and they 
*swear* their hands are not on the mouse or the keyboard.

All the orders appear in tracking.asc.  Interestingly, all the orders are 
also in backend.asc *BUT* they are out of sequence: i.e. order number 
88-87-86-89-84-90-91-92.

Anybody got any ideas?  It's like the order gets stuck in the server...
