Died in Select?

Hi!

Big problem. Suddenly - the shop was still runnig for weeks. I got the
following error messages in the error.log everytime I try to use my
Navigation (=Select-form). The other navigation simple-hyperlinks work
well. The form doesnt - but it already did.

This error I  only got once:

304 seconds
- - - [13/December/1999:15:16:09 +0100] - - hammered PID 6294 running
304 seconds
- - - [13/December/1999:15:16:24 +0100] - - hammered PID 6302 running

- - - [13/December/1999:15:17:24 +0100] - - hammered PID 6308 running
301 seconds
- - - [13/December/1999:15:18:39 +0100] - - hammered PID 6356 running
304 seconds

This every time I try to use the select-drop-down:
- - - [13/December/1999:15:27:39 +0100] - - error 'Unterbrechung während
des Betriebssystemaufrufs' from select.
- - - [13/December/1999:15:27:39 +0100] - - Died in select, retrying:
select: Unterbrechung während des Betriebssystemaufrufs

(I'm sorry this is German - should say something like 'Abort during
system call');
(Ive found an similar question (and error-msg) in this list but that guy
had another problem);

Help! What to do?
