[mv] Problem with arbitrary database

I have a arbitrary database group.asc -- it has fields grp, category ....
Catalog.cfg has entry

Dadabase group group.asc  TAB
group.asc is as follows

grp	category
electronics	camera
electronics	soundsystem
electronics	Television

so on and so forth

Now I do a search on the group.asc file to list the categories under grp..

The search I used is
	[fi=group.asc
	sf=grp
	se=electronics
	sp=result2]

and my results2 page
has
[search-list]
<B>[item-increment].<B>
[item-data group category]<BR>
[/search-list]

But the result comes out as
1.Television
2.Television
3.Television

Instead of
1.camera
2.soundsystem
3.Television

I did look into the mailing lists and seems that I'm not the only person who 
faced this problem..
I would really appreciate if somebody could help me with this..

P.S -- The minivend version that I use is 3.14
