This part is, of course, correct. I usually put a 1 instead of TAB, but I
don't think that makes any difference, really.

Try this as your results page...

[item-field category]<BR>
[/search-list]
maybe I'm stupid, but I don't think you need a [item-increment] tag.
then place the "ra=yes" flag in your [area scan...] tag to denote that you want
a return all (if this is, indeed, what you are attempting todo.)
