[mv] [loop search] weirdness
****** message to minivend-users from "Christopher P. Lindsey" <lindsey@mallorn.com> ******
I have a [loop search] that does something simple, like display each
returned entry:
[loop search="st=sql/ml=100/sq=select p.code, p.description, p.invasive, p.sci_name, h.hardiness_name, p.image_name, s.size_name, p.price from plant as p left join size as s on s.size_id = p.size_id left join category as c on c.category_id = p.category_id left join hardiness as h on h.hardiness_id = p.hardiness_id where c.category_name ='[scratch category]' and p.sci_name > '[scratch letter]%' order by p.sci_name limit [scratch start],[scratch chunk]"] :[loop-code]:<br> [/loop]
This is what I see see if there are two or more matching entries:
:yufilbr This superb selection of Yucca, with yellow-emargined leaves, ultimately creates a large, colorful rosette from which is borne an erect flowering spike to 4 ft. The most impressive attribute this Yucca possesses is its ability to withstand a smothering contingent of summer perennials while retaining unblemished foliage for winter effects. For full sun and sharply drained soil, though I successfully cultivate this in average garden loam. Liliaceae Garden origin Yucca filamentosa 'Bright Edge' z4 NULL d2" 6.00:
:yuflaiv A bold, taller-growing species with bluish green foliage to 3 ft., forming highly textural spikey rosettes from which are produced tall panicles of lovely ivorine flowers in early summer. Full sun and well-drained soil. Liliaceae Garden origin Yucca flaccida 'Ivory Tower' z6 NULL d4" 10.00:
Each field is separated by a tab. However, if there is only one matching
entry, this is displayed:
:winod:
:An:
:extremely:
:rare:
:conifer:
:in:
:western:
:cultivation:
::
:creating:
:a:
:handsome:
:pyramidal:
:tree:
:to:
:30:
:ft.:
:over:
...
As you can see, each word is displayed for [loop-code], instead of each
row with tab-delimited fields. However, the SQL query is nearly identical
(with the exception of [scratch letter]). Testing the SQL query in
mySQL directly works fine.
Am I doing something wrong here? Any ideas? This is minivend-3.14-3.
Thanks,
Chris
