Re: [mv] changing __LEFTHANDSIDE__
****** message to minivend-users from "Gideon van Gelder" <gideon@swingmaster.nl> ******
Hi,
Let me get this straight:
the [file] and [include] tags pull the data
right out of the .html or .-file and no restart is required.
the __VARIABLE__ -solution is probably faster, since it pulls
the data out of the memory, I guess, but in order to put it
there, MV has to read the file variable(.html) at start-up,
so each time your change it you have to restart.
Bottom line, don't want to restart, use [include].
Want faster performance, with having to restart, use __VARIABLE__,
i.e. __LEFTSIDE__.
Bye,
-Gideon
(I'm not sure about the performance part, but I think I'm about
right)
