Hello,

I need to thank you in advance.  I have been using a virtual server since
1997,  but this is the first time that I need serious help.  I am trying to
install Minivend on a virtual server.

This is what I have done:

1.  I have downloaded the files needed to run Minivend.

2.  I have verified from my virtual server tech support that it is a Unix
server with Perl 5.004.

2.  I have read the docs that explain how to install Minivend.

3.  I do not have Perl on my computer, so I have uploaded the expanded
Minivend files to the /cgi-bin of my virtual server

4.  The instructions state that I need to:  run the configure script.
-----This is where I am stuck.  There is a configure script, but I do not
know how to run it.


-----Also, attempted to run a Perl-Checker on the   Makefile.PL script and I
got this message:

   Can't locate Config.pm in @INC (@INC contains:
/usr/lib/perl5/i686-linux/5.00404 /usr/lib/perl5
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at
Makefile.PL line 11.
   BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at Makefile.PL line 11.

To sum up, I am lost.  I am fairly familiar with some aspects of
web-creation, but I can not figure this out.

I really appreciate you help.
