[mv] Delay on checkout

Hi,
one catalogs has some problems since a few days. The system is running
very fine since 3 month. Meanwhile there is a delay for some people when
they hit the very last "order" button. They wait and nothing happens
(windows is in "working" mode), but they can click on the button once
more and afterwards two or more orders (with different ordernumbers) are
created. I didnīt change anything since the start so I have no idea what
cases this... it is mvend-3.12...
has anyone any good hint?
