I know that MiniVend comes with support for working with partners (or
affiliates, as they're also known).  However, this support seems to
extend only so far as getting the affiliate's ID from the URL.

If I'm not mistaken, implementing an affiliate program will thus
require the following:

(a) Affiliate database (ID and affiliate info)
(b) Purchases database (affiliate ID, product ID, and date/time)
(c) Registration form for affiliates
(d) Modification of checkout.html to add a row to (b) for each item
    purchased,
(e) Report forms for the client (to see how many checks to cut each
    month) and for the affiliates (to see how much money they're
    owed).

Am I missing anything obvious?  And before I start to implement all of
this, does any or all of it exist already?

Also, how do affiliate programs handle refunds?  We now use CyberCash
for purchases, and I can easily see the affiliate database falling out
of synch with CyberCash if and when the vendor handles refunds.
