Hi,
First at all i'm not a newbie (i have ten
years
of experience in Unix as System
Administrator).
I found Minivend very amazing, but i'm having a
problem.
I feel confident that I have tried (and read) everything
possible in the documentation and
on the FAQ (if you are having problems). I couldn't find
anything about my problem.
Well.. as last resource i'm sending this mail to
you hoping i'm not annoying you
;-)
I have a Pentium 90 with 24 Mbytes RAM
and Linux RedHat (sure i have read everything about
RedHat in the site..) and Perl 5.00503.
After downloading Minivend 3-14.4, I gzipped and untarred
it.
I launched perl Makefile.PL and all seemed
OK.
When i launched make test the response was:
[root@lilly minivend-3.14-4]# make test
PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 /usr/bin/perl -Iblib/arch -Iblib/lib -I/usr/lib/perl5/5.00503/ i386-linux -I/usr/lib/perl5/5.00503 test.pl server.......ok 1 not communicating with server socket link..make: *** [test_dynamic] Error 29 and i couldn't go any further...
The error.log file (in the blib sub-dir) is:
[root@lilly minivend-3.14-4]# more dist/error.log
