[mv] Problem with [loop search] using Database type 3

MV 3.14 GDBM DB

I use a type 3 database because the contents of the fields are mostly
long texts.
When I loop through the db using [tag each table] the [loop-code] and
[loop-field field] show correctly, however, when I try to build a select
box using [loop search=""], then the [loop-code] and [loop-field field]
are scrambled. There is no obvious pattern in the sense, that it is not
simply displaying the wrong fields. It looks as if the line-feeds were
interfering, because sometimes just one line within the field is
displayed.

Am I not supposed to use [loop search] with type 3 dbs?

The db is not large and does not contain any critical data, so I can 
make it available, if required
