[mv] NEWBEE SSL QUESTION
****** message to minivend-users from OTR Comm <otrcomm@wildapache.net> ******
Hello,
I am very new to minivend. I have installed the systems and setup the
demo store-front using the 'simple' catalog.
Now, I have the demo store setup on a secure server (Apache+SSL on a
Redhat Linux 6.2 box) dedicated to just this store-front, but I can not
figure out how to get minivend to recognize that it is running on a
secure server.
Can someone please help me to understand the steps that I need to take
so minivend and the demo program will operate on a secure server?
For example, I have the the entire cgi-bin for the store-front setup in
my httpd.conf file to RequireSSL, so the .../cgi-bin/simple program can
run under security (this works). But there was no place during the
setup of minivend to define any secure directory/file spaces.
Consequently, when I go to the 'welcome' screen for the 'Art Store' I
see that the URL for the 'Enter' button is pointed to 'http://...'
instead of 'https://...'
Where do I change ths?
Thanks,
Murrah Boswell
