I have just installed minivend 3.14. After running
./configure it installed everything correctly and I chose all the default
choices. I installed minivend outside of my public-html pages. The only problem
I encountered was upon making the sample database. I type simple at the prompt
and get the following error:
makecat -- MiniVend catalog installation
program.
*** We will be making a catalog named 'simple'.
***
Can't read config file ./makecat.cfg: No such file
or directory
Now the minivend server starts up just fine with
./start and there is a directory called simple, but I believe that was there
upon unzipping. I have been browsing old archives and the FAQ, but can find the
answers. Does anyone have a simple fix to this problem.
