Eran, I'm not sure I understand your question completely, but it sounds like
your HTML example is static.
If so, why not have MV load it at start time and drop in place in your page
much the same way the simple
pages use __LEFTSIDE__.

If you are talking about dynamically creating GIF's or JPG's with vanilla
HTML and no scripting or
server-side tags, you've got me how you did it.

As a plug for Roxen, you can create graphical rollover tags very easy:

 <gtext href=http://www.roxen.com magic>Roxen Platform</gtext>

Creates a simple rollover based on the text between tags.
