The minivend homepage FAQ states the following:

"It is not difficult to convert existing static pages to MiniVend, but
maintaining them can be a nightmare."

I would like to start by converting my existing catalog pages to
MiniVend...and will most likely convert to the database with the next
revision to the catalog.  I would like to simply put links for Qty, Color,
and Buy Now at the end of my product description line, which will lead into
the cart. I'm looking forward to using minivend's quantity pricing
capability too, but that can wait if necessary.

Question: What are the codes and how do I use them to convert my existing
catalog pages?  Do I still install the MiniVend program in my cgi-bin
directory?
My website host allows *.cgi files to be run from any directory.
Please advise....thank you very much.
