[mv] Secure domain differs from primary domain - how should I set thisup?

I am nearly ready to go live and complete credit card testing, but have
hit a wall I did not expect and I and my sysadmin are both stumped. I'm
hoping one of you might be able to offer a hint. 

When I attempt to access a secure page (eg the checkout) I get an internal
server error. Here is the varibles section of my catalog.cfg:
