[mv] How to Reset the Selected option?

Greetings to all,

Here is my challenge:

I'm using MV 3.14-3

I'm \using the dropdown menu on the results page with the selected
functionality as follows:

<SELECT name="mv_searchspec">
          <OPTION value="">All Manufacturers
          <OPTION [selected mv_searchspec Agrilogic]>Agrilogic
          <OPTION [selected mv_searchspec Bountiful Harvest]>Bountiful
Harvest
          <OPTION [selected mv_searchspec Farmhand]>Farmhand
          <OPTION [selected mv_searchspec Grow Well]>Grow Well
          <OPTION [selected mv_searchspec Topsoil]>Topsoil
          </OPTION>
</SELECT>

Which works great until the customer moves on on the site and decides to
come back at which point the results page displays all the results but does
not reset the selected option.  It remembers the last selected options.

Is there a way to reset those??  Has anyone else encountered a similar
problems?  Any hints greatly appreciated!!!
