Re: [mv] Newbie Question
****** message to minivend-users from "Nancy Shargool" <nancy@bytedesigns.com> ******
I installed a new simple catalog, and only succeeded in re-creating the exact problem I had already. I'd really appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Where does the reference for the category scan come from?
My source reads this:
<TD WIDTH=150 BGCOLOR=#FFE88D VALIGN=top ALIGN=left><FONT SIZE=1 FACE="Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica"><BR>
<A HREF="
" ALT="Molds"><B>Molds</B></A><BR>
instead of:
<TD WIDTH=150 BGCOLOR=#FFE88D VALIGN=top ALIGN=left><FONT SIZE=1 FACE="Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica"><BR>
<A HREF="http://www.trackermall.com/cgi-bin/simple/scan/se=Impressionists/sf=category/ml=3.html?id=gSwgDIds" ALT="Impressionists"><B>Impressionists</B></A><BR>
</FONT></TD>

In source of the simple catalog reads /simple/scan/se=Shirts/sf=category/ml=3.html, but in my source it's not including the /scan/. Which page do I define this on? As far as I know my cat.txt, area.txt and products.txt all have corresponding case. It seems like my selector isn't scanning the products table and pulling out the corresponding categories.
