[mv] Urgent problem, please help! -Can't locate IO/File.pm

Everything is running well under mv4, but i have a weird problem....(pls
keep reading)
all the old catalogs are running, but when i create a new one under mv4 i
get an error (ONLY) in the catalog created by mv4.  I have mv4 in my local
server, and it worked without problems, (creating cats and all)
....The error i get is:

do config error: Can't locate IO/File.pm in @INC
(@INC contains: /home/rx/mvend /home/rx/mvend/lib /usr/lib/perl5/5.005
03/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.00503
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/i386-linux /
usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005 .) at /home/rx/mvend/lib/Vend/Table/Common.pm
 line 864, <IN> chunk 1.

I did some searching, and found that in /usr/lib/perl5/5.00503/IO   there
were no files at all...so i can understand the error...my local server have
files in there...File.pm, Socket.pm, and the rest...(all created from the
first minivend. version i installed back in april 99).
I dont know why the old catalogs work, and the new ones dont.
I did copy the pm files from my local server to the one having the problems,
but the server complained, as expected....where can i get these files? I
already erased and installed and configure the minivend server from
scratch....but i keep having the old catalogs working, the newly created
dont.
PLEASE, if you can help, soon, ill greatly appreciated....i have one site
down....
