ok, I guess I asked for that, so please allow me to rephrase!

to achieve the following:

I'm trying to implement a one-click *external* link that puts an item in the
cart and brings up the checkout page.  The best I can do is
http://www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/cart/order?;ITEMCODE which brings up the cart
view with the item in the basket, but I'm really looking for a
"checkout?;ITEMCODE" parameter or something along those lines.
