RE: [mv] Storable Troubles..

****** message to minivend-users from "Jeff Carnahan" <jcarnahan@networq.com> ******

To follow up, manually removing all traces of Storable from my machine, and
installing the module by-hand (not via CPAN.pm) seems to have fixed one
problem, but not another... Now I receive:

1.2.3.4 4pIR6b2N:216.98.228.134 - [16/March/2000:02:38:56 -0500] simple
www.host.com/cgi-bin/simple/process Runtime error: File is not a perl
storable at blib/lib/Storable.pm (autosplit into
blib/lib/auto/Storable/retrieve.al) line 189, at
/home/minivend/minivend-4.02/lib/Vend/SessionFile.pm line 66

Again, suggestions, pointers ideas are appreciated.. =)

Subject: [mv] Storable Troubles..

I seem to be having a bit of trouble with the perl Storable module after
installing MV 4.02 ....

Here's my error:

- - - [16/March/2000:02:16:31 -0500] - - START server (28836) (INET and
UNIX)

I re-installed the Storable module:

#perl -MCPAN -e shell

cpan shell -- CPAN exploration and modules installation (v1.52)
ReadLine support enabled

cpan> force install Storable

Things seem to be fine here, however it looks like MV is still referencing
blib/lib/auto/Storable as Storables location, not i686-linux/Storable.pm ...

Has anyone else run across this one?.. I'm going to keep working on it,
however I just wanted to throw it out there to see if someone has had prior
experience with this.. =)
