RE: [mv] MySQL errors
****** message to minivend-users from "Kevsurf" <kevsurf@mindspring.com> ******
Mike,
After installing all of those modules, I still get the following in the
error.log
209.86.92.142 89KFJmTQ:209.86.92.142 - [24/March/2000:04:02:46 -0500]
nwsmokes /cgi-bin/nwsmokes/process.html Safe: Can't use
an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at
/usr/local/minivend/lib/Vend/Table/DBI.pm line 740.
I have installed Safe::Hole, but still this. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Kevin

You need to install the Safe::Hole module and possibly the SQL::Statement
module.
Many of the MiniMate problems are failure to run this
on your Perl:
perl -MCPAN -e 'install Bundle::Minivend'
Minivend 4 will work (barely) without its wanted modules, but
MiniMate will not work well without at least:
MD5
MIME::Base64
SQL::Statement
Safe::Hole
I think I will add some messages to the startup based on
lack of modules. Something like:
Safe::Hole module not installed -- MiniMate unlikely to work well
SQL::Statement module not installed -- MiniMate unlikely to work well
MD5 module not installed -- possible search paging problems on
busy systems
etc.
I already did that for the RPM.
