[mv] Returning to that last page

****** message to minivend-users from Chris Rapier <rapier@psc.edu> ******

I looked in the archives for answers to this question but I couldn't
find anything that actually worked the way I would like this to work.

What I'm trying to do is bind the 'Continue Shopping' button to return
to whatever the last search page was. In the basic demo this would
correspond to last 'results.html' page the user was looking at before
clicking on 'Buy Now'. I tried using the 'last_search' example found in
the 'simple' demo but all it does is return me to an empty results page.

For example:
I click on 'buy now' for an item on page
http://151.201.20.18/cgi-bin/SCC/scan/MM=99049436120:0:4:5?mv_session_id=N4HwFZBI&mv_nextpage=results

This brings me to basket page:
http://151.201.20.18/cgi-bin/SCC/basket?mv_session_id=N4HwFZBI&mv_action=refresh&mv_order_item=1377

When I click on 'Continue Shopping' I am returned to:
http://151.201.20.18/cgi-bin/SCC/scan/un=yes/ra=yes/fi=catopts%2etxt/lb=loop1basket.html

Which isn't even close to what I need.

So my feeling is that I can rebuild the first url by using the values of
mv_session_id and the value of MM. However, I don't know where MM is
stored or if its even persistant. Whats more vexing is that I can't
rebuild that information from a flypage. I think I can work that by
having a flag set on the flypage and using that to rebuild a different
url.

I'm going to bang on this for a while and if I figure out anything good
I'll put it here but if anyone has a solution to this *please* let me
know.

Thanks
Chris
