[mv] Does minivend keep server logs?

Just ran into a little problem with one of our clients. They want to get
statistics from their site so they can see how much traffic they are getting
and where it is coming from. Only problem is once the initial store.cgi is
accessed the server (roxen) doesn't see any changes in pages since they are
being handled by the Minivend cgi's.

So my question is has anyone written or does minivend currently have
(couldn't find it in the docs or the list archive, looked like search on
minivend.com might be temporarily broken though.) a system for logging hits
& such to the specific minivend pages? Any kind of stats would be great.
Right now all we can get is basically how many hits the site gets (how many
times the store.cgi & the images are fetched). Anything additional would be
great.
