[mv] last_search causing crashes

We are running MiniVend version 3.14 on BSDI unix and have been
having repeated trouble when trying to use [data session
last_search]. It works in that it will pull up the search results
of the last search the user placed. However, at that time the user's
session is stuck and any minivend calls will cause an internal
server error. Does anyone know of a better way to pull up a user's
last search?
