Directories do matter. If you have tried to install a demo catalog to the
same location more than once, of course their will be existing files there
already which will need to be overwritten.
You should not be creating subdirectories in your CGI-BIN. The only thing
that gets put there is a link file which will have the name of your
catalog. All other files get put in the catalog root and the htdoc space.
