Minivend is running on a ISP that have other catalogs running, so is there
any way I can restart the catalog by myself, ie, without asking the
administrator to do this for me? Unfortunately Minimate is not working. I
believe I can do this by it.

When you make changes to your catalog.cfg file, you must restart your
catalog for those changes to take effect.
