Are
you having any trouble with your RPM installation as far as viewing the
catalogs? I am running a Linux server too and installed the RPM and
cannot see the demos or a new catalog I created.

While trying to get the signio module working tonight I
realized a potential problem with the minivend installation. I used the
RPM install. It seems that when you run the server from init.d it uses
the log, config, and catalog files /var/ and /etc BUT if you run the server
from /usr/local/minivend/bin it uses the log, config and catalog files in
/usr/local/minivend. 1. Why are these files duplicately installed?
2. Is there a reason that they load from different places based on where
minivend is ran from? 3. Is there an easy way to remove the
duplicate files and modify minivend so that it only loads the files from one
place?
