I just had that very problem.  Turned out MySQL didn't have rights to
the data base.  Check the Linux permissions on the files.  Make sure
MySQL is the owner.

I have managed to make everything work, however if I reboot my machine
I
cannot get the minivend server to restart without error.
If it works before I reboot why not after.
Well here is my error message.
I hope someone else has this problem....

Anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong??????
