[mv] MV don´t find perl, but I have it

Hi all... I´m kind of newbie on minivend... I´m having a problem during
the instalation of Minivend 4.03... My ISP have a Red Hat Linux 6.1
with Telnet acess. I downloaded the minivend-latest.tar.gz file to my
hard drive. Than I sent it to my isp by FTP (on the cgi-bin folder)on
binary mode. So, I connected to my ISP by Telnet and unziped it...
everything fine until here. When I ran "perl Makefile.PL", comes a
question : "Where do you want to install Minived? " I just left the
directory that minivend suggests... and than...

Unable to find a perl 5 (by these names: perl5.00503 miniperl perl
perl5 perl5.00503, in these
dirs: /usr/local/bin /bin /usr/bin /home/musicase/bin /usr/local/pgsql/b
in /usr/bin)

I tried to run ./configure but it keeps asking where is located my
perl. I say it and it says that perl was not found:

Can't open perl script "-e": No such file or directory
Perl version not high enough or Perl not found.
I need to know where the Perl 5 interpreter resides.
It was not 'perl' or 'perl5', or it was not in your
path. Please enter a fully-qualified path name,
or just press ENTER to exit.. (what did I say?)
Where is your Perl 5, please? /usr/bin
./configure: /usr/bin: is a directory
Perl version not high enough or Perl not found.

The problem is that I have the file perl5.00503 and perl in /usr/bin...
Can somebody help me ?
