More information: When creating the basic demo, it puts a file called basic in my /usr/lib/cgi-bin directory. When creating the simple demo, it puts a file called cgi-bin in the above directory. Both files are the same size. The exact wording for the two lines in the minivend.cfg file are;
Catalog basic /home/vendor/catalogs/basic /cgi-bin/basic /basic
Catalog simple /home/vendor/catalogs/simple /cgi-bin /simple
