[mv] General quantity pricing question

I am building a site with hundreds of separate product files, is
there an easy way to setup quantity pricing based on a second price
field that I have in the products files? Or do I have to build a
pricing.asc one large file? Can I setup a pricing.asc for each
database (product file)?
