[mv] resetting minimate

im testing out minivend/minimate 4 and the authentication got all screwed
up somehow, it lets pretty much anyone access the db's without a password
and yet sometimes it asks for a password but always says mismatched
password, i can't delete or create users, so ..whats the process of
resetting all minimate stuff? or just removing it totally and reinstalling
minimate ?

any advice would be appreciated!! thanks

btw im running debian gnu/linux 2.1 with perl 5.6.0
