Try setting the minivend.cgi u+s,(chmod u+s cginame.cgi) and making sure its
minivend.username, this works fine for me.

I've created a user "minivend' and group "minivend", add all user in the
"minivend" group. So the catalog directory is something like "drwxrws--
user minivend xxxxxx" created by the "makecat" script (by choosing M when
asked for permission group configuration). When tried to access the
catalog, we got error message
" We're sorry, the MiniVend server is unavailable...
We are out of service or may be experiencing high system demand, please try
again soon."
I thought the problem is the permission. Any ideas?
